Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
A structured approach to honoring and applying medicine wisdom
Bridging Insight and Transformation
Bridging Insight and Transformation
Why Choose KAP?
Supporting your journey of transformation with professional guidance
Ketamine can shift your brain chemistry. But medicine alone can't teach you a new way of living. This part happens in relationship, in reflection, and in the intentional work of making meaning.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) pairs the medicine with professional psychological support, so we're tending to both the neurological and the psychological roots of what you're carrying. Standalone ketamine treatments, like IV clinics, focus strictly on the drug's effect on the brain. KAP goes further, pairing you with a therapist to help you process your experience along the way leading to longer lasting results.
Neuroplasticity
Ketamine creates a rapid surge in neuroplasticity, your brain's ability to form new connections. Ketamine opens that window & therapy uses that open state to gently introduce healthier patterns and new ways of relating to yourself before the window closes.
OUR PROCESS
Together we will:
Process challenging or confusing aspects of your journey
Make sense of symbolic content and personal insights
Apply revelations to create lasting positive change
Navigate emotional material that has surfaced
Integrate new perspectives into relationships and daily life
Develop practices that honor and extend the healing process
Whether your experience was recent or years ago, structured integration work can help unlock its continuing healing potential. I provide this support while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries and professional ethics.
Integration sessions
Turning insight into lasting change: Ketamine sessions often surface profound, sometimes abstract realizations about your life, relationships, and history. Integration sessions afterward help you hold onto what you experienced and actually build on it.
A softer, safer way to approach hard material: Ketamine can temporarily lower self-criticism, anxiety, and the emotional defenses that usually keep painful memories at arm's length. That cushion can help you approach sensitive material without getting overwhelmed, flooded, or pushed into panic. It's a gentler doorway into the difficult stuff.
Relief that lasts: Research (including studies in the Journal of Affective Disorders) suggests that pairing ketamine with therapy produces greater, more durable symptom relief than ketamine alone. And because KAP helps you build your own coping tools, most people need fewer maintenance doses or booster sessions to stay well over time.
Comprehensive Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
A supported journey from preparation through integration
This service provides comprehensive support for individuals interested in ketamine-assisted therapy for conditions that haven't responded adequately to traditional approaches.
ABOUT KETAMINE ASSISTED THERAPY
Who This Approach Is For
For those seeking to understand previous experiences with psychedelics or plant medicines
This approach is particularly well-suited for both deep thinkers who find themselves trapped in analytical loops and those who value evidence-based approaches combined with transformative experiences. A medical screening with a prescribing professional will determine if ketamine is medically appropriate for your specific situation.
Ketamine-assisted therapy may be appropriate for individuals who:
Have tried traditional therapy and medication without adequate relief
Are experiencing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, or PTSD
Feel stuck in repetitive thought patterns despite intellectual understanding
Are seeking deeper healing for trauma stored in the body and nervous system
Want a professionally supported approach to psychedelic medicine
Are open to non-ordinary states of consciousness as part of their healing journey
Prefer a structured therapeutic container for this work

OUR INTEGRATION OFFERINGS
How Our Integration Programs Differ
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy combined with EMDR
At Earth & Sky we can pair Ketamine-Assisted Therapy with EMDR when appropriate. This allows for evidence-based trauma processing with the neurobiological benefits of ketamine, creating a powerful approach for transformation when traditional therapy hasn't been enough.
This combination works at multiple levels simultaneously:
Ketamine enhances neuroplasticity while EMDR's bilateral stimulation helps process difficult emotions, memories & beliefs
Creates an optimal environment for transforming difficult experiences that have remained stuck
Helps quiet the analytical mind that often blocks deeper healing
Creates space for your innate wisdom to emerge beyond intellectual barriers
Your Journey
Preparation: Initial consultation, medication provider intake, and establishing intentions
Experience: Professional support throughout ketamine sessions
Integration: Structured integration sessions paired with EMDR to make meaning of insights and implement practical changes
This approach is particularly valuable if you've gained intellectual understanding but still feel emotionally triggered, or if traditional therapy has helped but you've reached a plateau.
Note: I do not prescribe ketamine. You will meet with a qualified medication provider as part of the treatment process. My role is providing therapeutic preparation and integration support.
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy: Where Science Meets Transformation
The mental health field is witnessing growing research supporting Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a powerful approach for those feeling stuck in traditional therapy. Studies show promising results for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions where conventional approaches haven't created lasting change.
As someone committed to offering both grounded, evidence-based techniques and transformative healing experiences, I've integrated ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration into my practice for clients who may benefit from these approaches.
KAP works at both the neurobiological level—creating new neural pathways—and the psychological level, allowing access to deeper material that may be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone. This dual approach aligns perfectly with the Earth and Sky philosophy of honoring both practical science and intuitive wisdom.
If you're curious about exploring ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or integration therapy, I invite you to discuss this option during our sessions. I can provide information about the process, answer questions about what to expect, and help determine if this approach might complement your healing journey.
KAP won't be right for everyone, and it is a personal choice whether you want to consider it. But in my steadfast dedication to serving you, I wanted to let you know that this is now an option available to you through my practice. If you're interested in how KAP could lead to breakthroughs in our work together, please let me know, and we can explore the next steps.
